The Company

Life Settlement Financial, LLC began in 2006. Since inception the Company has purchased life settlements to hold in portfolio. Buying life insurance policies directly from policy owners allows the Company to work directly with the policy owner and their financial professionals to determine a fair purchase price. Direct purchases eliminate the layers of markup common in secondary market purchases of life settlement policies.

Life Settlement Financial currently acquires policies through a Producer network of financial professionals in the western states. These accountants, attorneys, long-term care agents, life agents and fee-based financial planners are eager to maximize the potential of their client’s unneeded and under-performing life insurance assets.

Life Settlement Financial also has entered into partnering agreements with state health care associations to offer life settlements to residents and prospective residents of senior communities owned and operated by their members. In this depressed real estate market a life settlement often provides the cash necessary for a senior to qualify for admission to a private-pay senior community of their choice. This allows the senior and their family to keep the home off the market and sell it later at a better price.

The Company intends to remain compact, using automation and proprietary underwriting techniques to leverage gains. Technology and purchasing discipline allows the Company to specialize in smaller policies ($100,000 to $500,000), thereby spreading capital over a larger and more statistically accurate portfolio of policies.

The Company has a network of respected financial institutions with whom we place policies in excess of $500,000. This assures the policy owner, the insured and their advisors that their policy goes into a portfolio where the insured’s medical is secure and not being shopped as is the case in the secondary market had these policies been sold to a broker.
